Make & Take Classes FAQ
Every Monday & Wednesday from Noon till 4pm—Make & Take Class
(First and Third Wednesdays of Every Month Until 7pm)
Many people come in asking about our classes, and they all generally have the same questions, so we’d like to provide some information here:
Q: Do I have to call to reserve?
A: No, please feel free to stop in anytime during class hours.
Q: I see that your classes run from 12-4pm. Do all the classes take 4 hours?
A: No, we generally recommend 1.5 hours per class; allow an extra 45 minutes if you're creating your own project.
Q: Do you charge for your weekly classes?
A: No, you only pay for the materials; instruction during Make & Takes is always free!
Q: Do you have a set project for each class session?
A: No, we have a set of monthly projects that change every month. You can always see the current set of projects here. You can make any of these projects during any session, or you can create your own project! :-)
Q: Do you ever have classes on off days?
A: Yes, if you have a group (e.g. birthday party, girls' night out, etc.) and would like to inquire about setting up special classes, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or book using the selections below. There are often charges for special sessions and a credit card is required for booking any session with a cost attached, but we try to keep them as low as possible for your group.
Q: Can I bring my own beads from home?
A: While you can bring your own materials during Make & Takes, these sessions are more to teach particular techniques, and our projects are tailored to these various techniques. You may learn more by doing one of our projects. Also, since our instruction is free, we do hope you'll choose to purchase your items with us.
Q: Is there anything else I should know?
A: Yes, we want you to have fun! Our classes are great for beginners to more advanced students! We're available to help in any way, from teaching how to do your first crimp to more advanced wire-wrapping techniques. Our classes are all-inclusive so that everyone has the chance to learn from everyone else. It's a great, supportive atmosphere, and everyone has lots of fun!
We hope that you'll join us!! :-)
