Andrew's Teaching at Contemporary Craft in Pittsburgh!

Hello friends!

We wanted to let you all know that we can finally make the official announcement: Contemporary Craft in Pittsburgh is starting some weeklong intensive workshops this summer and Andrew has been picked to be one of the lucky artists to kickstart this new and wonderful project! 

He'll be teaching a one week workshop on mixed media for powder coating. If you don't know, powder coating is such a fun process and it's a great alternative to enameling. It's a much more budget-friendly process (in case you absolutely love it and want to do it at home in your own studio), and this workshop will show you how you can use this process to customize and personalize your creations with color and illustrations. With Andrew's approach, you won't need the specialized powder-coating equipment used in many industrial applications, either! 

Andrew plans to go through a buffet of techniques and then you'll be able to focus on what is the most important to you and your work along with his help and guidance. That's what's so great about these week-long workshops—there's plenty of time to work in a specialized way with everyone! He also plans to have everyone leave with a pile of work to show what you've done and learned! 

The workshop starts on August 10th.
