I thought about who these people were and how they were connected. Little stories emerged. They seemed like they were all part of a society or cohort. The way that I layered the paint, the mixed media pieces remind me a little of aura photography. They feel like psychic portraiture, where I was attempting to capture what can’t be seen with the eyes alone.
