We just wanted to take a few moments to thank you all for all of your support and love over the past year (or years for many of you)! We are full of so much gratitude that it’s difficult to express. So many of you have helped to keep us going year after year! We can't thank you enough!
We know that many who visit us here interact with us from time to time, and many spend time with us much more often than that. But, we also know there are some who we don’t hear much from, and we wanted to catch you up on all the things that are going on with us and what we can do for you.
If you’re in an area that no longer has a bead store, we’d like to help you out. You see, we’re a small bead store in a small town. Just like the ones that used to be sprinkled all over the US. It used to be that you could walk into your neighborhood bead store and get all the items that you need—knowing that the owners (who you knew personally) had already made sure that everything they sold was of great quality. They took pride in that quality and in what they offered.
Well, that’s who we still are. We’ve been Ligonier, PA’s neighborhood bead store since 2011. And we’re well known to our local and online friends as the place that they can be sure that they’ll receive quality components because we are proud of what we offer, and we personally source and inspect every single thing that comes into our store (both in-store and online).
Our name may throw you off a bit, but we’re a fully-stocked bead store, and we have all the items needed to make beautiful jewelry. Allegory Gallery is also an art gallery. Art, beads, and creativity in general are all very important to us, as well as supporting other small independent makers and businesses whenever we can.
If you’ve missed that hometown touch because you don’t have a local bead store near you, we hope that you’ll check us out. Even if you’re not local, it’s easy to get to know us. We go live on Facebook and YouTube nearly every single weekday. We chat with our community there, share what’s going on in our world, and get to know everyone there, as well. Community is the most important thing to us, and we try to build that in so many different ways.
We would like to welcome you to our family, and we hope you’ll enjoy your time with us. We have to stick together in this crazy world, and we look forward to getting to know you!
