I've been making glass beads since 2002. After exploring many other types of jewelry making for many years, glass quickly became a passion. I'm inspired by natural forms, from diatoms to poppy pods, and enjoy using and combining colour in unconventional ways. Break the colour wheel rules! Enamel and exotic silver glass allow me to add even more colour and texture to the glass beads.
I also work with fine silver metal clay, do some traditional metal smithing, assemblage jewelry, needle felting, and make miniature dolls using tiny antique doll parts. Because I'm also an antique dealer, these aspects of my work draw strongly on the past.
I live in London, Ontario, Canada.
